First Day in Dublin

The flight over was uneventful. On the trans-Atlantic journey no one sat beside me so I got extra room in addition to two blankets and pillows. It happened that I met two other students from Purdue studying at UCD. As we got off the plane, went through customs, and bought bus tickets we met more and more Americans going to UCD. I was so proud to have packed only one suitcase to bring over here, but I am beginning to feel like I under packed. Of course it was great when I was pulling my lone green suitcase and all the rest of the people were lugging along two huge ones plus a backpack and purse:) In our apartment there are five bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It's a lot nicer than I expected so I am very happy with it. It didn't take me long to unpack before I met up with two people I met on the bus. It's so weird to not have a cell phone and have to actually make plans in advance. You really have to count on people to show up because if they don't come there's really nothing you can do about it at the time. Since I have nothing in my apartment like food and toilet paper I am needing to go out and do some shopping. Wish me luck!

Here are some pics of our apartment:
